Mopsy is introduced in The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

Mopsy is a well-behaved little bunny who tries to stay out of trouble. She is the daughter of Mr. Rabbit and Mrs. Rabbit and has three siblings--an older bother, Peter Rabbit, and two sisters, Mopsy and Cottontail. She lives with her mother and siblings in a sandbank underneath the root of a Big Fir Tree. Her father passed away at the hands of Mr. McGregor and his wife, Mrs. McGregor. She typically wears a pink coat.

The Tale of Peter RabbitEdit

Mopsy listens as Mrs. Rabbit warns her and her siblings to stay out of Mr. McGregor's Garden and reminds them that their father, Mr. Rabbit suffered an "accident" there. After Mrs. Rabbit leaves to the Bakery, Mopsy and her sisters go down the lane to pick blackberries. At the end of the tale, Mopsy and her sisters have a yummy supper of bread, milk, and blackberries.
