Owl Island is the main setting in The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. It is an island near the Wood at the Edge of a Lake and is reigned by Old Brown, who lives in the Hollow Oak Tree on the island. Owl Island is frequented by squirrels including Squirrel Nutkin and Twinkleberry for its large amount of edible nuts.
